Description
This 1961 Austin Healey 3000 is a much-desired MkII triple Carburettor model built on the 18th September. Originally fitted with overdrive, wire wheels, a heater, adjustable steering column, laminated windscreen and roadspeed tyres, this car is a highly optioned car in very attractive condition throughout, ready to enjoy.
Painted in Westminster Blue – a very attractive dark shade typically featured on Jaguars of the same period, this Healey stands apart from the others with chrome wire wheels to complement. Inside the car feels fresh with Black upholstery and new Black carpet in good clean order.
In 2022 over 100 hours and £9, 300 has been spent at Jim Stokes Workshop on servicing and improvements works including new brake slave cylinders, front trunnions, new carpet, hood refurbishment, new side-screens. In addition to this, a further £4, 000 was spent on bodywork.
This is a very smooth, enjoyable car to drive. Noise is excellent thanks to stainless twin exhaust pipes and the rare triple carb engine.
Sold with MOT, British Motor Heritage Certificate of Authenticity, paperwork history file, spare wheel, hammer and jack, spare paint and HPI clear.
