Description
This is a lovely very rare original example of what is generally regarded as the best two stroke road bike ever made. The RG500 is an awesome machine making 95 HP and weighing only 175kg, both incredible figures for a 500 in the mid 80's. These bikes were considerably quicker and better handling than their only competitor the Yamaha RD500LC. The bike has done only 16, 800 miles (26, 900 km) and the engine is strong and tight. It has just been extensively serviced, had some new paint work, along with new brake discs and tires. The bike starts first or second kick and absolutely flies as the revs go up. This is a very exciting bike to ride and one of the best investments around.
The bike comes fully serviced, with a new MOT and six months warranty.
