Berkeley SE328 Micro Car 1956
I have owned the car for over 20 years. On the road since July2006 following full restoration & lovingly used since. Mileage quoted is since restoration. New project now forces sale.
Fitted with a Excelsior Talisman twin 328cc two stroke engine. 4 new 520/ 12 cross ply tyres & now fitted with a larger battery as felt that the standard motorcycle battery was not efficient enough.
Early car with single post hood frame, front mounted fuel tank & small headlight apertures. Now fitted with a 4-speed gearbox & floor change.
This car has been driven by Sir Stirling Moss and appears in his book “80 cars for 80 years” which we have a signed copy. Also features (with photos) in the Berkeley Enthusiasts Club newsletter, issue 303 Sept 2006. Both items will go with the car along with vehicle spare parts.
