Honest Jeep with significant provenance for sale.
This largely original 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sahara was originally part of Jeeps official collection that was leant out to press. I am unsure of exactly how many times it was leant out / printed in magazines, however I can confirm that it was featured by autocar magazine at least once. I also have a collection of pictures from when it was originally featured in magazines and owned by Jeep.
It was then sold in 2005 to a private collector, who has since sold it on, 7 owners later and now it’s up for sale again. It has been kept in a covered garage for the last year and has been started and operated up to temperature every few weeks.
It's just passed an MOT, advisories are due to it being kept under cover in a garage and not being driven. The brand new brakes haven't bedded in yet, hence the brake advisories. (the new brakes front and back have less that 100 miles on them)
The Jeep has been serviced regularly and therefore still runs and drives.
This Jeep is largely original, with only upgraded headlights and an updated stereo unit, however the original headlights and stereo are still with the jeep and can be re-fitted, if you should so wish.
Also comes with spare parts such as, new shock absorbers, ball joints, carpets, brake discs and brake line.
