“Collection by Vermant” is pleased to be able to offer you this truly unique Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. This ZR1 was bought new in Italy by the late Angelo Borra and was delivered on the 4th of December in 1990. He was an infamous Italian businessman and founder of the radio station 101. Unfortunately, in 2003 his huge collection of 1. 500 cars, motorcycles, helicopters, aircraft and military vehicles was confiscated by the Guardia Finanzia. In 2005, the car was bought by its second owner, Massimo Nannini, from the sale hosted by the Guardia Finanzia. Subsequently in 2007 the car was sold to its last owner, miss Morino Clarina. She kept the car in her possession ever since. Over the years, the car was only used sparingly. This makes that the car is still in pristine condition and has only covered a mere 16. 500 km since new.
When looking at the exterior of this we can find one of the most iconic colours on any Corvette, Bright Red. This colour accentuates the lines of the car very well. When continuing on the exterior, we can find some ZR1 specific features. The rear of the car has been widened by 3 inches, to accommodate wider tyres. When continuing on the back side of the car, we can find that the rear has been made concave. Furthermore, the ZR1 received square taillights instead of the round ones found on its non ZR1 siblings.
Going over to the interior, we can find a beautiful Smoke gray leather interior. Throughout the years, this has been cared for very well and is free of any damages or imperfections. The leather of the seats is still very soft and not dried out. This interior features all the amenities that we can find in new cars today, which is quite rare for a car with 32 years of age.
