MASSEY FERGUSON 590 “MULTIPOWER” TRIMA LOADER, BUCKET & GRAB

Direct off farm, completely original and never been tarted up Massey 590 Mutipower in good working order, comes with log book, Trima parallel loader, bucket, grab, p/ steering, & PUH, a lot of usable tractor at sensible money, ask to see the video.
Starts first time every time with no help, runs well and no smoke when pushed hard, all the gears select in both ranges, clutch is smooth with plenty of bite, the Mutipower is working, gives extra power and holds on a slope with the clutch dipped. The brakes are working ok and the handbrake is good.
Tyres all ok, none great, but none ruined, the rear wheels are cast iron ballasted ones to give more stability to the loader. The bucket and grab are on a quick release bracket that just needs to lock pins pushing home.
Hydraulics are smooth and quick, both front and rear, no signs of any squirts or serious drips from any loader pipes. The self-levelling loader works well and the muck grab pipes clip on and work as intended. Working PUH with pin bar fitted and optional hook inside the cab, plus a single tipper pipe.
It’s lived most of its life inside and that had saved it from the worst of the tin worm, the large door and hinge pillar are still solid, the large side window still opens, some rough edges and one poor repair on the wing edges, but everything else appears to be intact and original.
It has 3344 hours on the clock, but we can’t confirm they are correct, been in eth same family for over 30 years, used until the demise of the father and then passed to daughter and little used since, it’s a 1977 first registered in January, we have the full modern log book.
The indicators are working, but not much else on the electrical front, there is play in the steering, fine at yard speed, vague at road speed, the PTO clutch needs adjusting and it generally wants a good going over and service, we haven’t made any further inspection and we are selling it in “off farm” condition.
Very handy 75hp tractor with a good loader, will happily work away, one to use and improve or maybe a full restoration, nothing hidden, genuine machine from a genuine home.
