HERE is yet another 1960s vehicle from my very own classic car stable. As ever, my prices offer what arguably may be the best value for money classics in the UK. My business has celebrated 15 years of successfully sourcing antique vehicles and then re-homing them with their happy new owners. So now, here is my 1965 Wolseley 16/ 60.
She is in delightful order and has the most enormous history file which reveals thousands of pounds spent over the decades in order to keep her in fine fettle mechanically, structurally and bodily. She is a lovely luxury Farina in possibly the best colour combination BMC designed for the model. Rose Taupe and Sandy Beige with contrasting red leather interior. Yes, leather and not vinyl as some later models were given.
Very pretty on the body and strong, sound and straight to her underside, she looks a picture. Her interior - leather, wood and headlining - is excellent too. She has a lovely sweet engine and performs admirably showing 59, 000 miles on the clock which can be traced back through the extensive history file. She even comes with her original bill of sale from a York dealership!
My classic cars are motoring antiques. Please do not confuse them with your one-year-old Range Rover. This car, for example, is 57-years-old and so will have quirks and faults in there somewhere. These are not always apparent when buying and selling classics which is what I do. I do not restore them, nor do I pretend that they are concours cars. The majority of them go out as they came in, and I continue to enjoy finding more - a skill which is becoming increasingly difficult as many of you will be aware. They deserve to be taken on as "family pets" and cared for through thick and then. They don't make them any more and demand now out-strips supply. Please bear all this in mind, and enjoy your classic car. I can also assist with delivery and so please ask for a quote. Thanks, Martin. the details below.
