My Police Harley Davidson FLHTPi Electra Glide was dispatched to Wayne County Police Department, Detroit, on the 17th August 2006. It was transferred to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, known as The Metro, after a short service with Wayne County. When it was in service, with both police departments, it was an Airport Police bike and as a consequence has covered very few miles.
GTC Classics of Sussex imported the bike and I purchased it from them. I am the second owner since the bike was imported and GTC Classics was the first. I have only used the bike for shows. It still has the siren and blue and red police lights. When I purchased the bike it was a single seat so I had a pillion added so my wife could ride with me. The police radio had been removed so I put a radio/ cd player in it but have not wired it up. There are some light scuff marks on the fairing and crash bar that were on it when it was imported.
I have only used the bike for shows and a few ride outs. Unfortunately my health is forcing the sale.
