Launched in 2002 the CL55 Kompressor replaced the previous normally aspirated CL55. With the addition of the Super Charger power jumped from 354 BHP to 500 BHP and torque increased from 391 lb. ft to 516!! They were (and still are) an incredibly quick machine that feels light and nimble on the road with outstanding performance whilst offering all the luxuries you would expect from a range topping Mercedes Coupe.
This gorgeous example has covered well below average mileage whilst being meticulously maintained by its owners. It was registered to Mercedes for 4 months when new, then a gentleman from Liverpool owned it for 2 years. After that it was owned by the same lady from 2006 until 2021. I sold the car to its most recent owner in August 2021 and he has covered just over 6, 000 miles since, most of which with an enormous grin on his face! Recent work includes; Strip and refurb 4x wheels, new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, New heater motor & resistor, new alternator, oil & filter change (Mobil 1), new water pump, new belt tensioners and belts, air conditioning service, 4 wheel alignment, super charger service and exhaust system centre section replacement. As you would expect, with all that recent expenditure the car is in excellent health indeed.
There are 2 keys, all books and manuals and a clear HPI report. There is a large folder detailing previous maintenance at the main dealer at 13k, 24k, 30k, 35k, 43k, 49k, 54k, 56k, 60k, 63k (Transmission Service) 64k, 65k, 70k.
With less than 100 of these cars left on the road this is a rare find and is without doubt one of the best cars to come out of AMG Mercedes. Now is the time to pick up one before people realise what they're really worth!
