Clan Crusader 1972 with BMW k1000 engine conversion
Rare Clan, number 102 of 315 produced - this one has front disc conversion, BMW bike engine conversion, flared arches.
Excellent overall condition, under my ownership it has had the brakes, electrics, cooling system and steering overhauled. Retains the original Imp gearbox, this is a common conversion apparently.
Nice Revolution wheels with 175 tyres on front, 205 rears.
Starts on the key, tax MOT and ULEZ exempt, I have been using it as my daily driver in good weather. Heater and electrics work.
Bodywork is very solid with no cracking or crazing, but there are various marks and stone chips and it previously had a sunroof, the filling in is visible if you look closely. However inside the headlining is excellent.
This is a car for driving, not polishing. Drives, steers and stops nicely, handling is amazing. I have been using it all summer and have ironed out any niggles, mainly involving replacing cooling hoses.
Comes with V5 in my name correctly registered as a historic vehicle, small file of paper with an original Imp workshop manual, spare keys. Needs front number plate changing (I have a replacement black and white one but can't get the old one off !) and the fuel gauge is temperamental (possibly earth), apart from that it is fully turnkey and ready to go.
Happy to supply walkround videos etc just ask
