Tiger ERA HSS finished in Lotus type 49B livery and built by Tiger Sportscars in @ 2002/ 3 with a total of 22 only being manufactured. This was a factory built model only - not available in kit form.
When purchased 12 months the new was informed that this car had been in dry/ secure storage for a period of @ 16 years. Its never been on a track and came to me with the new seat separate and unfitted!
Tyres are the original factory fitted Toyo Proxis.
The chassis is 90% round tubed space framed and powder coated.
The body is GRP with Carbon.
Fitted with a Ford 1800cc Zetec 16v engine with twin 45 Webers and mated to a 5 speed Hewland type 9 gearbox with reverse gear.
Steering is rack and pinion 1. 75 turns
Disc brakes front and rear.
Suspension is front top rocker and rear, hub with trailing arm.
Fully adjustable shocks all round
Brake biase valve
Fire extinguisher fully plumbed in
Wheelbase is 2215mm
Overall length is 3500mm
Weight -460 kgs
Front wheels are 15 x7
Rears are 15x8
Unused in my ownership but started regularly and driven indoors to ensure clutch and gears operate etc.
Ideal for hill climbs / sprints
