Here we have something a little different. This Standard Vanguard was first registered on 12th August 1954 and the current V5 is displaying 3 former keepers. As can be seen it is presented in royal air force livery, probably in tribute to the british battleship Hms Vanguard. The Standard is extremely sound with good body and structure. The interior again is superb throughout and looks to of had the seats retrimmed at some time. It is fitted with excellent radial tyres all round and comes with the original hardback service manual and instruction book. Now it will require some easy recommissioning. We have so many cars coming in at present and they continue to keep coming. This particular car has been here since late last year and we have not touched it, so we are going to sell some of them as is. It was running when it came in but will require the usual, ie battery charging, engine servicing, fresh fuel etc. That said it has been well cared for by the previous owner. Basically a weekends work and it should be ready to enjoy. As previously mentioned its a really solid car throughout that will clean up beautifully and will be very rewarding.
