A VERY ORIGINAL EXMPLE OF A LONDON ROUTEMASTER DOUBLE-DECKER BUS
With original AEC engine and GB32 gearbox. Comes with Class 6 MOT until November 2022. So ready for ongoing private hire work or preservation.
RM471 was built in 1960 and worked the streets of London until 1985 when she was sold to Kelvin Scottish in 1986. After 7yrs in Scotland she was sold to Frontline Buses in Birmingham before entering preservation in 1994.
We have owned the bus since 2019 where it has been used for private hire work. The bus has been maintained to a very high standard and is still fitted with an original AEC engine, gearbox and interior.
A reluctant sale as we are downsizing the fleet.
Any viewing and inspection welcome by prior appointment, we have lifts in our workshop so any potential buyer is welcome to look under the bus.
