Offered for sale is our 1999 Ford Auto Sleeper Legend Motorhome, it is built on the Ford Transit chassis with 100hp turbo Diesel engine, 5 speed gearbox and power steering.
The vehicle has electric windows and both seats have drop down arm rests and the passenger seat is of the Captains chair style which rotates.
All the interior is in excellent condition and the Monocoque fibre glass body is also in excellent condition.
This is the 4 berth version but only has seat belts to the front seats, rear belts were not mandatory until 2003 I believe.
Entry is by way of a folding step into the habitation area, inside there is a ‘U’ shaped seating area which can fold down into a king size double bed or twin single beds.
There is a double bunk over the drivers cab accessed by a ladder or this area can be used as storage.
Numerous storage cupboards throughout.
There is a 4 burner gas hob and oven with a grille under and an extractor hood above.
A 3 way fridge 12/ 240 volt electric and gas, with small ice box, blown air central heating and reading lights.
The shower room has a wrap around curtain and cassette toilet and drop down wash basin with vanity cupboard over.
On board water storage tanks for fresh and grey water and 240volt electric hook up.
It comes complete with all old mot’s service history from 2003 and various invoice for servicing work carried out plus all original handbooks and service books and a Ford top of the range cd stereo with speakers fixed in the rear section.
New batteries were fitted this year and last serviced in November 2001.
We purchased this early this year with a view to enjoying many touring holidays but owing to the diagnosis of a serious medical condition which will mean that we will not be using it for the foreseeable future so have decided to sell it and let someone else enjoy some great holidays away.
