Airstream rvs very rarely come up for sale any where, even more an argosy and such an original time warp.
For those who arnt familiar with the argosy, they where designed by airstream in the 70s and where supplied with a painted finish, we have stripped this back and polished her up, many hours worth to do this but very much worth the effort. A lot of a the polished airstreams after the argosys took a lot of the design features used on the argosy. They where kind of like a development that paved the way for the polished airstream rvs and they also made the argosys in a trailer version too.

She has been replumbed in the rear removing the existing copper and replaced the water lines for plastic
The manual hot water heater has been replaced for an electric ignition dometic

All the appliances work and have been replaced (oven is original but very clean and fully operational)

Mechanically she is in great condition, looked after by reputable American car garage in the midlands and has had a fair amount replaced the last few years such as brakes, brake hoses, full stainless steel exhaust etc.
She starts right up everytime and runs excellent.
She is 28 foot, 7. 6 wide and 9 tall, not difficult to drive, in fact quite easy. Ideal for a fixed abode or to tour in, we have no issues driving her around cornish roads! I understand size may well worry some folk but we where used to driving a vw bay before jumping into an argosy and was probably the best thing we did.
