Mercedes 450SE W116. 1978 V registration, finished in a stunning retro colour combination of Millanese brown metallic with tan check and MB Tex interior. This effortless V8 engine has only covered 71, 000 miles, the car has had a full body restoration around six years ago where the shell was stripped to bare metal, put on a rotisserie and completely restored. The interior is literally still as new in pretty much all areas. There are many photos of the restoration and a photo book has been created about this car. I cannot stress just how great this car is to drive and it takes you right back to when Mercedes built the most comfortable solid cars in the world by far. I doubt it would be possible to find another car that someone has gone to such lengths to restore the shell, It just wouldn't be financially viable.
