Selling my very rare mk1 Ibiza 1. 2 GL with System Porsche engine - I removed this car from sale previously as the tired Pierburg 1b3 carb made it both undriveable and unsaleable! So it has now been fitted with a new Weber carb and manual choke at some expense which has transformed the car and it is now both functional and fun! Also being an original Ibiza it has the satellite steering wheel controls, which are very quirky and intuitive to use.
It has some age related marks which could easily be addressed, slight blistering around the sunroof surround, there is some evidence of previous welding below the front screen, slight bubbling under the rear screen and a small spot on the bonnet. The interior is very clean indeed, the original stereo is present but not working so a single CD player has been installed. The car has been fitted with optional GLX/ SXi alloys - the two missing centre caps are with the car. It has the original book pack and lots of history, including a cambelt change in 2020 and new tyres within the last year.
MoT runs until May 2023. Please expect a very good survivor that's probably in the best condition you'll find for one of these but not pristine, as far as I can tell despite its very low mileage it's been in constant use throughout its life. The mileage is approximate as I still use it now and again.
A great entry level classic and you're highly unlikely to see another. The car can be driven away.
