Renault 8 S… Familiar, sporty and a lot of fun!
The Renault 8 S (R1136) was launched in 1967 and was a sportier version of the 8 Major. The «8 S» had a very similar look to the Gordini version, with the long-range headlights built into the front.
With the 60 hp, 1. 108 cc, 4-cylinder «Cléon-Fonte» engine (10 hp more than the Major), the 8S was not as performant as the Gordini, with 1, 255 cc and 100 hp of power, but embarrass no one!
Original Portuguese vehicle in good general condition.
