A very rare early example, complete with its original Indian-built BMC B-Series engine.
I drove it across India in late 2018. The trip was a major feature in the October 2020 issue of Classic & Sports Car magazine.
I imported it to the UK in 2019 and it’s been in dry storage ever since. UK duty was paid.
It’s in good condition… for a car that’s spent nearly 60 years in India.
Everything is pretty worn, but we covered 1670 miles in India without any problems. No problems appeared to be imminent, either.
Some recommissioning work will undoubtedly be required to bring it up to a British standard of roadworthiness.
