For sale is my 2008 Aprilia Tuono 1000 Factory.
It is in superb condition but I'm just not riding it enough. It's part of my collection which I'm trying to reduce as I'm getting on a bit (72) so I've decided, reluctantly, to sell it.
It has all the Factory additions which include:- Ohlins front and rear suspension, Brembo brakes, Oz lightweight wheels, Akrapovic exhaust and crash bungs. The panels, front mudguard and rear hugger are carbon fibre.
It has full service history, the valve clearances were done last week by the excellent AP Workshops in Tamworth who also fitted a new Lamda sensor and K&N air filter. A new battery was fitted a few months ago. The tyres, brakes and chain and sprockets are all good. The MOT is due on 13/ 04/ 23.
It has 139 bhp and 79lb-ft of torque and the dry weight is 185 kg. The bike has been meticulously looked after by me and not used during the winter. It needs nothing, is a joy to ride, smooth and comfortable, handles wonderfully and is very fast when required. Good condition, low mileage examples are becoming rare and harder to find.
