Ready to ride, no need for any 'recommissioning'.
First registered in the UK February 2022, historic vehicle, tax and MOT exempt. I am the sole owner on the V5C.
Total mileage unknown as no speedo ever fitted.
Unrestricted Fantic/ Minarelli SP4 engine (4 speed gearbox) with SP cylinder, new piston and SP Export head.
Many recent new parts including piston, 12 volt electronic ignition with voltage regulator for more reliable starting, running and lighting, Metzeler ME22 tyres, chain, front sprocket, spark plug + throttle, clutch and rear brake cables.
Tank has been externally repainted, in good condition internally having been de-rusted at some stage in the past.
Frame and wheels have original paint and show 'patina', they could be cosmetically improved by repainting if desired.
Forks in good condition, recently stripped, cleaned and re-greased.
Seat in excellent condition with no rips or tears, foam is nice and firm.
UK style rear light, 12 volt bulbs and voltage regulator fitted so the bulbs don't blow every time you go out.
Dellorto SHB 19. 19B carburettor fully cleaned & rebuilt.
The original (weak) 4 friction plate clutch replaced with the much stronger 5 plate version (clutch bell, springs, friction and steel plates).
New gearbox oil.
I've covered about 100 miles on the Fantic GT since fitting the new parts mentioned above, the new piston is nicely run in, tyres still like new, carburettor tuned, brakes and clutch adjusted.
