1992 Kia Pride 1. 3 LX project for sale, 70k miles. Currently a none runner due to a suspected fuelling issue. The paints a bit faded although a bit of tcut should sort it. The interior could use a wet vac and the radio is missing.
It was in the first batch of 900 produced for the UK market. The pride was launched in the UK in August 91 and this one was registered in Feb 92 but it was estimated to have been built around September 91.
It was first sold in Somerset. Then in 1994 went was sold as a used car at Colonial Garage in Ferndown, Dorset. It was sold to a lady in Bournemouth. She owned it until she passed away in 2011. Then it went to her brother who the previous owner bought it off last year, there's a bit of paperwork with the car dating back to 2011.
It's recently had service, a new fuel pump and fan belt although the fan belt may need adjusting as it squeals a bit. The underside is solid, the previous owner had quite a bit of work done to it and had it fully waxoyled.
