1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 289 2+2 with 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic. Presented in factory Rangoon Red with red bucket seats and interior and additional GT equipment and styling pack. Factory fit Power Steering and Air Conditioning with steel chrome GT wheels and BF Goodrich tyres.
Fully restored to exacting standards in the U. S. A and completed to its original factory specifications, personally sourced and imported by its only UK owner in 2018. Subsequently upgraded to visual GT specification by the fitting of new front grill and GT driving lamps, rear dual exhaust valance, centre console, GT Rally Pac gauges, Pony deluxe woodgrain steering wheel, new dual exhaust system and GT trumpet exhaust tips.
Manufactured 18/ 09/ 1964 at the San Jose plant making this a fairly early Fastback and designated as a 2+2 by badges on the car’s front wing. Complete with a History File containing its importation/ DVLA paperwork with invoices for all UK expenditure since its arrival.
Meticulously maintained and cared for by its UK owner, managing to keep this exceptional Mustang in the fully restored state it was received in just some 4 years ago, whilst even improving its looks and overall appeal along the way.
