This 2006 Boxster S has the highest specification we’ve seen on a 987. It’s a stunning looking car, finished in Basalt Black Metallic with a contrasting deep red roof and 19inch Carrera Sport wheels.
The cockpit boasts full black leather, including the seats, dashboard door panels and steering wheel centre (most Boxsters don’t have this level of leather). The seats have the Porsche crest embossed on the headrests. Sport Chrono Plus is a desirable extra as it gives a silver-faced chronograph atop the dash plus a Sport button which, when pressed, firms up the PASM suspension and gives a sharper throttle response, for an even more exciting drive. This is further enhanced by a factory short-shift gearlever.
Other options include 16-way Adaptive Sports heated seats with driver’s memory, Bose Sound Package, multifunction steering wheel, rear Park Assist, Xenon headlamps, automatic mirrors and automatic wipers. A useful update is a very neatly installed CarPlay and DAB unit with Bluetooth phone connectivity. This Boxster really wants for nothing.
The Porsche comes with a well-documented history with a fully stamped book and a folder of invoices. The last service was in April 2021 so, although the car doesn’t need servicing until April 2023, we shall service it before sale, ready for the new owner to enjoy, and it won’t require another service for two years.
