At the beginning of this millenium we imported hundreds of VW buses from California. That soon dried up and the quality we used to find was getting scarce. This is a typical 13 window deluxe how we used to find them all the time. Unmolested, all original, not modified. Its body is just stunning. Great allignment of doors and panels, beautiful chassis. Rare walk-thru 8 seater. The 13 window deluxe is basically a samba sunroof bus, but with the skylight/ ragtop delete (m130 code). It has all the samba goodies, like extra trim, chrome details, clock in the dash, extra sidewindow and the Wolfsburg crest in the hornbutton. Many of these deluxes have been converted into samba buses, but not this one. We sold it in 2004 to the previous owner and he didnt change a thing to it. It is a very decent bus, no rust issues. To be enjoyed for the years to come. Its engine runs great. Needs some work on the brakes as it has been hardly used in the last years. Ofcourse we can repair this for you if wanted.
If you want a bus with a soul, with some patina, not to worry about a scratch more or less, this might be the one for you.
