This one is believed to be an original UK RHD example rather than an import, and at some point in it’s life it was converted by Martin Walter Ltd of Folkestone into one of their famous ‘Dormobiles’
Odometer reading 67000 miles, and comes with a large sheaf of bills. In 2020/ 21, it underwent major structural work including
• New front panel
• New lower front panel inner and outer
• New sills, including centre sill with sliding door track
• New front steps, outer and inner, both sides
• New rear wheelarches
• New outrigger and jacking point
• New a-posts both sides
• New screen panel
Followed by a decent respray to the smart blue and white colour scheme as shown.
It’s a delight to drive, and putters along with that distinctive VW sound. As far as we’re aware, the engine is the standard 1584cc.
Because of it’s age, it is of course road tax, MOT, and ULEZ exempt.
