Launched back in 2004 to a rather bemused hot hatch market the Mk1 Fabia VRS has now attained somewhat of a cult following. Offering a great blend of performance, economy, motorway refinement and practicality it’s not hard to see why owners love them. This superb diamond silver example has been owned by a long term friend of JT Autoclassics and we are now pleased to offer it for sale. With 69, 875 miles from new along with a comprehensive service history and in lovely condition throughout genuine nice examples are now becoming increasingly difficult to find.
The car has recently been MOT’d and serviced by VW marque specialist and wants for nothing, full cambelt/ water pump service was completed on 14/ 2/ 20 at 50010 miles. The car has a stage 1 remap which lifts power to around 170bhp along with a good increase in torque which makes this example alot of fun to drive and punch well above its weight (Remap can be professionally removed and returned to standard FOC if required) A set of Eibach springs has also been fitted to tighten the chassis up a little with the extra power, apart from these two modifications the car is standard.
We know these cars very well here at JT Autoclassics as we have been running a Mk1 Fabia VRS as a daily for the last 4 years with a near identical spec to this and we are pleased to report this example drives exceptionally well, chassis is tight, power and torque fantastic for a small car and the tall 6th gear makes refined motorway cruising a breeze. The Mk1 Fabia VRS is destined for modern classic status and its like will never be seen again and this example is ready to be used and enjoyed by the new owner.
