MK 1 Stimson Mini Bug - Historic 1970-71 Kit Car
Super rare, one of only 20 MK 1 kits originally produced by Barry Stimson in 1970/ 71 , one enthusiast’s website believes there may only be one other MK 1 other left in existence.
Father & Son Family owned since we acquired it in November 1983, having only covered 781 miles since MOT dated 9/ 4/ 1984
A very sound and complete car, non-runner, last used in 2006-2007 and has always been garaged since we acquired in 1983. The fibreglass body is Black, but originally produced as Yellow.
Complete with dateless registration 1819 MM from original donor 1961 Mini with 850cc engine, registration independently valued at £2, 500 from Reg Transfers if retained and re-registered as Q plate.
Previous log-books, MOT certificates and tax disc’s, V5c shows 2 previous keepers & date of first registration as 1/ 2/ 1961
