1999 Suzuki Vitara
Reg. no. T574 SHU
Chassis no. VSEETV01V01208139
Engine no. TBC
Transmission: Manual
Mileage: 37, 533
MOT: January 2024
The first generation of Suzuki Vitara had a very successful life span worldwide with production running from 1988 – 1998. Being lightweight, rugged and spacious, it is also more than capable off road, it was the perfect tool for many people. Smooth and useable on the roads but when the bad weather came in or you needed to use it for all-terrain purposes, the AWD and gearbox with high and low ratios would get you about with ease. Being such a versatile vehicle, they have all been well used and very few survive today that have not had a hard life. This 3-door hard top example in blue over silver, a typical 1990s Japanese colour combination, has been with its current owner since 2011. It has exceptionally low mileage at just 37, 533 miles with the online MOT history seemingly supporting this.
Mechanically the car Is in good order with the 1600cc petrol engine and high/ low range on the gearbox working as it should. Although the interior remains in good order the exterior could do with some attention in order to appear more presentable. A great purchase to be used and enjoyed by its new owner with a recent MOT passed, or a great entry level collectors’ car that could well rise in value in the future after some improvement. It is noted that the driver’s side window requires a new mechanism and it would benefit from original mirror glass being fitted.
Estimate: £1, 500 - £2, 500
