We are pleased to offer this very well presented Hillman Minx. Finished in powder blue over charcoal with blue trim. This Hillman comes with its original bill off sale from Gr Hartwell in Oxford. The invoice dated 13 th June 1961 details the fitting of heater and blower, 4 wheel discs, over riders, windscreen washers and front seat belts all for the sum of £826. Also present in the file is the original sales brochure, many bills for previous work, mot certificates and a copy of Classics monthly January 2012 featuring a 6 page article on this particular car
The body appears remarkably sound and presents well. The interior is lovely with seats in excellent condition, good headlining and even its original rubber front mats.
Mechanically again is all good. It performed well on road test with no untoward noises. The engine looks clean and tidy and has been well maintained. There is a bill in the file from 2018 for a new Weber carburettor, together with new clutch in 2017 and rear wheel cylinders and battery in 2021
