On offer is this delightful MGB GT finished in period Old English White with black trim and red carpets. The car has been with the last owner for many years a clearly been cherished judging by its condition. Supplied new by Blakes Garages in Brentwood, Essex the car still sports its Essex registration number supported by the BL Passport to Service book and a Tectyl rustproofing certificate from Rust Prevention (Chelmsford) Ltd.
With the car is a thick history file dating back to the early 80s which includes receipts covering a replacement engine and consistent servicing suggesting that the car has been in constant use.
The car presents very well and looks extremely smart sat on a set of Minilite style alloy wheels, the bodywork is in very clean, solid condition and the interior is very tidy having had a new, high quality carpet set fitted not so long ago.
With overdrive fitted and a brake servo, the car drives very nicely indeed with good roadholding and fairly light steering.
Overall, a lovely example of a one of the last chrome bumper cars.
