This incredible machine is back having been in the hands of one of our customers for the past 18 months. Whilst not for the purist, this is a quick, fantastic fun custom Pick up truck that turn heads everywhere it goes. It’s an outstanding piece of kit that was subject to a major rebuild in 2016. Prior to selling it in 2021, it was with one of our long term customers in Northern Ireland who enjoyed using the Chevrolet on a regular basis. Prior to delivery to its most recent owner, the Truck went through our workshops for pre-sale preparation and we spent over £7500 on the vehicle refurbishing the charging system, replaced the steering column, steering wheel and boss and wheel spacers, fitted a brand new set of tyres, a new battery, re-lined the brake shoes and attended to a gearbox selector fault along with a full, major service.
Completed by a US truck restoration specialist in the autumn of 2016, the pickup underwent a full chassis restoration finished in black. Three coats of flex primer and three coats of satin black paint were applied to the chassis. The engine bay, interior and under hood area were repainted and in order to preserve the fashionable exterior ‘rat look' the truck exterior was painted with matt clear coat. The drive shaft and battery mount under the truck were finished in Lime green to match the interior. Power comes from a 283 cubic inch (4. 6 Litre) small block V8 with 2 speed power-glide automatic gear box. It has alloy headers and a custom built exhaust with cherry bomber back boxes and large twin side exit mufflers. It also has both power assisted front disc brake and power steering conversions. The truck is quick and makes a glorious roar! Under the hood is very clean and quite neat as the battery has been hidden under the back tray with convenient jump points under the hood. The C10 also has an electric thermostatically adjustable cooling fan. It has a full Air Tech air-ride suspension system with tank and compressor hidden under the back tray. The controls & gauges are mounted on the dash. This provides a show stopping almost 5 inches of body lift from the floor. The interior has a leather bench seat finished in grey with lime green beading and double diamond quilt stitching. The interior also has matching door cards, visors and a full carpet set. The new gauges and dials finish off the lime green cab nicely.

An awesome truck on the road with real presence, we have a complete list of the work carried out and parts used totalling over £17, 600 spent during the custom restoration of this exciting machine. We are offering the truck in its current ‘distressed look' finish, but have been tempted, as when we last had it to book this into the bodyshop and carry out a full re-paint in Lime Green to match the cab! We will hold back, and let the next owner decide, but we would be delighted to quote on this work which will only add value to this very desirable truck.
