Description
These are like hen’s teeth. This is a Proton Satria GTI with quite unbelievably one owner from new.
The Proton Satria GTI is a hot hatch from the late nineties/ early noughties. The little Satria has humble Mitsubishi Colt underpinnings to begin with but when Lotus was bought out by Proton, they got Hethels team straight to work on the Proton line up. The Proton Satria GTi with lotus handling was born and it sure did live up to its Lotus badge. In the words of Tiff Needell, this is a pretty impressive little car.
The handling is delicate and a true pleasure to pilot down British b roads thanks to its 1115kg kerb weight partnered with Lotus tuning.
The Naturally aspirated version of the 4G93 engine commonly found in Mitsubishi Lancer GSR sounds great and its peppy enough to get you hurling down the twisty roads of Britain and of course it makes a great noise too. To hold you in place are some lovely Recaro sports seats which are nice and supportive.
