Description

Whitewall tyres, Folding sunroof, Opening quarter windows, 499CC engine, Chromework

The successful Fiat Topolino was designed in 1949 to meet the needs of the post war markets for cheap, reliable motoring.. It was replaced in 1957 by the iconic Fiat 500, Designed by Dante Giacosa, (Receiving the Compasso d'Oro design for his efforts in 1959).. The first generation 500 featured suicide doors and a folding fabric sunroof, 4 seats and a 479CC aircooled rear mounted engine... it was an immediate success and very was well received, despite its diminutive size of 2. 97metres (9 feet 9 inches long) it was incredibly practical, spacious and popular . The Fiat 500 was in production from 1957 until 1975, building 3, 893294 cars before replacement by the Fiat 126. Our car the 500L was produced in 1970 with the 499CC rear mounted air cooled engine with slightly higher power and torque figures. Imported into the UK on 06/ 11/ 2015 the car comes with white paintwork and unmarked contrasting black vinyl seats, sitting on 12" steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and whitewall tyres, featuring opening front quarter windows and folding sunroof Showing 32701 miles although we cannot confirm that this is correct. It wouldn't take much expenditure to take this car to the next level to take to shows and enjoy regularly. It would benefit from a service, MOT (Exempt) and a tune up
