Built in Japan and exported from the U. S. A. this stunning bike in Candytone green / yellow had a total restoration in 2019 by the previous one private owner before being purchased by me.
New aftermarket exhaust and wheels and a complete engine rebuild have transformed this Z1 into a very desirable motorcycle which always draws admiring looks.
I had a new starter motor sprag clutch fitted in December 2020 and it has performed faultlessly since. However, it will start easily on the kickstart.
Validation letter from Kawasaki Motors U. K. confirms the frame and engine numbers are within the range of a Z1 manufactured on the 28th. May 1974.
The bike handles well and has an impressive turn of speed. The gearbox is easy to use.
All the lights and indicators are working including the red idiot light that lets you know you are using the front brake!
The paintwork is in very good condition as are the chromed parts apart from some small scratches on the front mudguard.
I am selling because I am now 79 years old and starting to find it rather heavy to manhandle.
Now registered in the U. K. it comes with the appropriate V5c together with a lot of invoices showing how much money has been spent on this machine.
