For sale is my 1959 Austin Healey Sprite, finished in Nevada Beige with red interior. I have owned for the last 2. 5 years, purchased privately from the chap who dedicated many hours restoring it to its current condition back in 2019. This included body panel replacements, respray to its new Nevada Beige, new black Minilites, new interior (including instrument dash rebuild), new side screens, red hood and cockpit cover, all creating a great colour combination.
Currently fitted with a 1275cc engine but also comes with its original 958cc engine and gearbox, should you want to revert to standard.
The current gearbox has a an issue with 3rd gear popping out, requires holding in until changing to 4th. This has not been a problem for me but will need a gearbox swap to get it to full working order. I have a replacement gearbox available with the sale or the original engine and gearbox could be used. Due to circumstances I am not able to swap out and decided to leave it as is.
The bodywork has some very minor paint blistering on the rear wings, this is not able to be captured on photographs but I want to be totally honest as to the cars condition.
I feel I have priced the car to reflect this.
