A 1951 Wolseley 6/ 80
Reg No. LXB939
Chassis No. 418/ 9218
Engine No. 9035
Cream with Green leather interior.
In 1948 the Nuffield Group introduced a completely new range of saloons based upon a new monocoque design of differing wheelbase lengths and using independent torsion bar front suspension. Shared with the less expensive Morris models, the Wolseley’s retained their distinctive front ends with traditional radiator grille. The engine in the 6/ 80 used a new 6 cylinder overhead camshaft design of 2. 2 litres capacity using twin SU carburettors.
This very smart car is finished in Cream with a Green leather interior with traditional wood finished dashboard and door capping’s. The interior is in excellent condition. Exterior paintwork is in generally good condition with minor blemishes, chrome work is good.
We currently have little history with the car due it being a sale from a deceased estate, further information will be updated here when available.
