Original condition 1934 New Imperial Model 40 project. 350cc OHV. Correct numbers for engine and frame as confirmed by the New Imperial marquee specialist of the New Imperial Owners Association.
This is a fairly complete project, I would estimate 95% complete, with most of the hard to find parts there.
The Lucas headlight glass and chrome rim is missing, the rear light is missing.
Engine and gearbox is complete and in good condition.

The original Amal carburettor is complete.
The petrol tank has a soft dent which I believe can be pulled out. The petrol tank is otherwise in good condition with only surface rust inside the tank.
In the box with spares there are the original handlebar levers, steering damper alloy knob, engine plates, bolts for the engine, original oil pipe, original New Imperial knee pads for the petrol tank and various other bits.
There is also a rear stand and a rear chain guard which I believe is the original one (although it has repairs from the past and needs work).
This New Imperial would be a nice project to finish leaving the patina intact. Or if one wanted to restore to new condition, an easy candidate to assemble a "dry build" from and do a full restoration.
