This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500SEL is the pinnacle of the brands engineering and technological prowess. The W140 was a truly special car which showed the company had moved from the analogue to digital age. This particular car was delivered new to Hong Kong and imported to Ireland in 2017. It has covered just 81, 500 kilometres, has an NCT until November 2024 and is ready to use.
The interior and driving experience is where this car really excels. Mercedes-Benz placed a strong emphasis on noise insulation in the W140. The result was a remarkably quiet cabin, with little road and wind noise intruding into the interior. This added to the overall sense of comfort and refinement. This 500SEL was optioned with almost every possible extra, all of which work perfectly.
The exterior paintwork is Impala Brown Metallic DB441 and both the body and bumpers are in excellent condition. The alloy wheels are virtually unmarked and each tyre has excellent tread remaining.
