I bought this car as a commuter car between London and Manchester and it's been faultless. I bought it off its second owner and the majority of the miles were completed early in its life where it was serviced by Barons BMW in Farnborough.
This is the ED Plus model which means it's been designed and optimised for maximum fuel economy, which is 83mpg combined. The road tax is also super cheap as is servicing and insurance.
It has just been fully serviced in June (including transmission fluid & oil change including flush, wiper blades, fuel and pollen filters etc) and has also just been serviced again (I get my cars serviced every 5-7k miles) and had the recall completed by BMW which included replacing all the parts that are known to be occasionally troublesome like the like the complete inlet manifold, EGR cooler and DPF sensor. The front track rod, brake pads and exhaust flex section have also been renewed.
The standard specification include Climate Control (just serviced and works perfectly) Cruise control, Integrated Sat Nav, All round electric windows, Remote central locking with alarm, Front fog lights, Satin silver interior trim pack, Trip computer, Front arm rest, Clutch foot rest, Leather multi function steering wheel, USB Jack and the ability to stream Spotify / Music through.
Further features on this car include Metallic Blue paint, Genuine BMW 18" M Sport alloy wheels and a superb quality upgraded audio system.
The body, interior, suspension, mechanicals are all in great shape including brakes, tyres, clutch, gearbox etc, no warning lights and it drives brilliantly; the engine and gearbox in particular are super refined and smooth. It's had no expense spared, is HPI clear, has a long MOT (December 2024) with no advisories and any inspections are welcome.
