Description
The Alfa Romeo Spider made its debut in 1966 as the final masterpiece designed by Battista Pininfarina. Over a span of three decades, this iconic model went through three distinctive series: 'cuttlebone', 'truncated tail' and 'aerodynamic', before being revisited in 1990. The reworking, again by the Pininfarina atelier, restored the original purity of lines. Created to take the place of the Giulia and Giuliatta Spider, the 'Duetto' line-up offered different engines over the years: 1. 3, 1. 6, 1750 and 2000. In 1982, Alfa Romeo introduced the 'Aerodiamica I' version, developed by Pininfarina based on a 1974 prototype. This version was produced with both a 1. 6 and a 2. 0 engine and featured new black polyester bumpers with an integrated shield and a flexible plastic spoiler compared to previous models. On a mechanical level, the 2000 engine marked the introduction of electronic ignition, while the 1. 6-litre engine reverted to 104 hp. The car we are offering is in excellent condition in both bodywork and mechanics, always serviced and regularly serviced. Black leather interior, ASI registered.
