Beschreibung
We are delighted to be able to offer this outstanding example of the popular MGB GT finished in striking Inca Yellow with Grey stripe trim. Supplied new to a member of BL staff, the car was first registered in Luton, Bedfordshire in January 1979 who clearly cherished it.
The owner bought the car from a respected classic car dealer in 2018 and has since spent much time and money bringing the car up to the exceptionally high standard that it is today. On file are many receipts for work carried out by us, including the fitting of an unleaded Ivor Searle engine which runs superbly and gives excellent performance.
Well known in MGB Register circles, the car has been well used in recent years and is all the better for it as everything works well and emphasises the practical design, you really could use this car every day.
The overall condition is superb with factory spot welds still evident and although it has probably had a little paint applied over the years, the overall impression is one of originality, the low mileage appears genuine. There are two sets of keys and an owners handbook with the car.
Available for viewing in our dry, well lit sales barn, by appointment please.
Offered for sale on behalf of a long standing customer, sold on a commission basis and therefore without warranty.
