This 1997 Mercedes E220 Cabriolet, is in astonishing condition having covered only 52, 000. The service history is as good as it gets and from a cosmetic and mechanical perspective it's faultless.
The exterior paintwork is in Astral Silver, has a deep shine and there's barely a stone chip to be found. All bumpers and side trim are painted in the correct satin grey with no scrapes or scratches. The black convertible roof is in perfect condition with no wear or fading and operates correctly. The wheels are refurbished and fitted with new Goodyear Efficient Grip Tyres.
The interior seats, steering wheel and gear selector are trimmed in black leather which still has a factory matt/ satin finish which further confirms the low miles. The walnut wood trim has a clear mirror finish, all switches and touch points retain an as new texture and the instrument needles are bright orange rather than bleached yellow of high mile cars that have lived outdoors.
This W124 drives as it should, the 4 cylinder 2. 2 litre engine is lively and refined. The steering and suspension has no free play and there are absolutely no squeaks or rattles. All electrics including the roof, operate as they should.
I take great pride in selling the very best cars and this car is exceptionally good. It's the perfect, well engineered, 4 seater convertible and a model that continues to appreciate in value. It is currently registered in Ireland but was previously UK registered.
