A nice 5-door MK2 Golf GTI in lovely Calypso Green with grey/ red tartan interior. MOT’d to August 2024. Good throughout, very usable and ready to enjoy!
The car comes to us from a previous ownership of around 10 years during which time it was well cared for with a number of subtle upgrades including a Jetex exhaust system and crystal clear lights with smoked indicators. Interior is complete and original. The car starts on the button and drives well with plenty of pull through the full range, firm handling and good positive braking. It comes with a fair amount of service records and receipts with a stamp in the service book showing a new cambelt kit fitted at 127, 000 miles.
There are one or two blemishes to attend to should the new owner wish to get the car to A1 condition: the odd rust spot and, in particular, a patch of corrosion of the front-lower edge of the driver’s door; and a couple of tears to the upholstery including a fairly noticeable one on the driver’s seat cushion.
A really good example, ready to drive away and with scope for further improvement as and when time and budget allow. Comes with assorted spare parts and workshop manual.
