Pistonheads take on the Panda 100HP: ‘Take it from me, it's brilliant. It's pretty much the last of the old-school mini hot hatches: no-nonsense, with the focus firmly on fun (it was one of the last cars with no ESP, unless you ticked an option box, which pretty much no-one did).
Since Fiat is seemingly incapable of producing anything nearly this good any more - don't even get me started on the Abarth 500 - the 100HP is your last chance to experience true Italian micro-magic.’
Exterior
Presentable exterior - The ‘Bossanova White’ Paintwork is in good condition, with no scuffing or scratching. There is light bubbling on 2 of the arches, 1 small dent and light scuffing on the wheels, but generally she presents very well.
Interior
This is where this Panda shines - Early in it’s life this Panda was owned by a supercar enthusiast who paid an extensive sum to have a custom red leather interior installed - Bringing it more in line with his other Italian Exotica! The interior is an amazing place to be, with the red interior extending to the door cards and shifter, clean dashboard and ‘Panda’ scuff plates. As with all Panda’s the steering wheel is peeling, but this doesn’t detract from what is an awesome interior.
Mechanical
To drive, it lives up to the hype - Being extremely lightweight (975kg) and paired with a rev-hungry engine, the car moves with an unexpected pace! You can’t not smile while driving this car. Everything works exactly as expected and is direct and responsive. Extensive history comes with the car including receipts for mechanical work totalling £2000 over the last few years. Mechanically she has been looked after exceptionally well and will have fresh a fresh oil and filter change completed here for the new owner. The Panda has MOT until 21st December 2024.
