Description

1976 R75/ 6

I bought this bike in 2022 and have carried out quite a lot of work to get it recommissioned. Rides really nice.

Too much work to list, but to sum up:

Full going over of engine, valve clearance, torque heads, changed all fuids. Carbs rebuilt fully with new floats etc & synced, new ht leads & caps etc.

New throttle, choke & tacho cables

New wheel bearings

Refurbished all wiring on engine & replaced charging system.

New handlebars

Handlebar mounted master cylinder (rare) & new pads

Siebenrock single seat (£250) original seat also still with the bike.

New spokes in front wheel

New tyres & tubes

New grips & footpeg rubbers

New swingarm boot & tacho drive boot

Rebuilt fuel taps

New balance pipe on exhaust system & new silencers - sound great and come with baffles so can made quieter, also original silencers can come with bike (tatty)

The bike rides well, cosmetic wise I have only polished it, all original paint with a nice patina. There are some marks, dents etc as to be expected with a nearly 50 year old bike. Not using it enough so up for sale. Can arrange delivery if required.
