The legendary DAF 55 Marathon in sedan version. Delivered new in 1972 and has only demonstrably had three owners since then. This is an original factory Marathon, not a retrofitted set.
Matching Numbers with the original 1, 108cc BR110 Marathon engine. A spicy and, above all, very smooth-running DAF with approximately 63 HP linked to the Variomatic drive.
The Marathon has been repainted in the past and has been very well maintained since then. The paintwork has some traces of use and normal spots for its age. Furthermore, the exterior is finished in Kobina white with the correct original Marathon stripe. A striking detail are of course the original STIL car rims. The right type and a spare rim is available. If you prefer to see the original DAF Marathon rims on the car, that is also an option. The factory original and leak-free sunroof/ sliding roof is unique. Very nice and simple to operate. Wonderful during the summer.
The interior of this 55 is beautiful and very original. Dashboard is virtually undamaged and has minimal traces of use. Not discolored and completely usable. The seats are in beautiful condition, almost new! And also offer a lot of comfort.
Well maintained and immediately ready for use. Recently had a major service, brake fluid renewed and a cup replaced.
