We’ve sold this machine before, having now completed its landscape job it’s back in stock, in as new, not even scratched the paint off the buckets and the large bucket has never yet been fitted, it’s done very little work and in excellent condition, an almost new digging machine for very little money, price today is £4516 and ours is the current model still being marketed.
Ok, lets deal with the haters and negative commenters first of all, this is not a tracked digger, it’s not the biggest or fastest machine and it’s not going to build the next village “A” road bypass. It IS, a very affordable, hardly used, easy to operate smaller digger that will far out dig all of the “I could do it faster with a spade” commenters, it will do a good job and be incredibly useful to anyone wanting to do smaller jobs like ditching, draining, clearing jobs and is a huge upgrade from a pick and shovel.
It can be towed to the work site by a quad bike or anything else like a large ride on mower, easy enough to push around a yard by hand, see our video and it can self-propel itself around the job site with the front bucket and wheels, again see the video, it has a standard 50mm tow hitch, comes with 2 different size buckets, power is from a 9hp Briggs & Stratton petrol engine, the specs give a digging depth of up to 2m and a reach of 2. 45m with 130 degrees of swing.
The two legs with wheels are fitted at the rear (bucket end) for transport and then swapped to the front (tow hitch end) whilst digging, just raise it up with the bucket to swap. The two rigid legs are added at the rear for digging and can be stored in the upright holders during transport, or the front holders, we have not shown this correctly in the our pics, but you can see it in the two borrowed examples and in the video. Just under 3 years old, no leaks, no drips, no weeps, no cracked pipes, no worn pins or bushes and always been stored inside.
Not really sure its suitable for towing on the road, no mudguards over the fairly small wheels and obviously a light board would be needed, that said we did bring round from our customers behind the pick up, the buyer can decide for themselves.
Genuine bargain compared to new, it might not be a tracked machine, but it’s not priced like one either, invest a little money and get a real lot of digging power, it will never need a tea break and after many hours of productive digging YOU will not require a Radox soak bath and lathering up with muscle relief lotions.
It’s not going to the correct machine for everyone, but to the right man this is an absolute gift.
