The Chimaera was introduced in 1993 as the mainstream model in the range.

The TVR Chimaera is a pure product of our British friends. Hand-crafted, light and very sporty, it was a certain idea of comfort with a few exotic touches, such as doors that opened with a button under the rear-view mirror (which itself came from our Citroën CXs).
This car was imported from the UK in 2007. After spending a few years in Belgium, it arrived in France in 2018.
In good condition, including the chassis (the weak point of these models), this TVR runs perfectly.
We have a file of invoices dating back to 2004.
Behind the wheel, the British roadster atmosphere is the order of the day. The interior is comfortable and luxurious. The sound of the engine encourages you to rev it up. You won't be disappointed. With 240bhp and 1000kg, the animal is sometimes difficult to tame.
As the 1st page of the driver's manual states: "In summary, we suggest you obey the old racing adage: Enter Slowly, Exit Quickly".
