MGB GT 1972 Teal Blue Superb car.
Offered for sale is this 1972 MGB GT previously sold by myself three times before. I have known this car for the last 28 years and over the previous four owners.
Extensive history file from the mid 1980's onwards covers everything from interior refurbishment in the 80's to major body rebuild carried out by ourselves in the mid 90's. Body rebuild included four wings doors, tailgate, valences, sills etc. Bought the car back in 2014 and carried out a full engine bay detail into a shot blasted engine bay. The paint was refreshed at the same time.
Parabolic rear springs, polyurethane bushes and telescopic rear shock absorbers were added in 2017 along with castor wedges to lighten the steering further.
More recent additions have included new Stainless Steel exhaust, 6 volt batteries. front suspension overhaul with polyurethane bushes and a new clutch.
Most recent work has included a fully rebuilt Gearbox, a roller release bearing to the clutch; The front seats have been retrimmed in fresh black leather piped in blue with raised front seat foams.
This car is in fine condition; I wish there was more around like it. No wonder why I have bought it back so many times.
